Privacy policy
In short: Walkabit has no servers. We do not collect, receive, store or sell your data. There is no analytics or advertising. Your data lives in your own private iCloud and on your own computer.
Who we are
Walkabit is an Apple Watch and iPhone app, plus a small “relay” program you run yourself, that lets you start and steer Claude Code sessions by voice. Contact: support@walkabit.dev.
What we collect
Nothing. Walkabit does not operate any server that receives your data. We cannot see your prompts, code, sessions, workouts or health data, and we have no user accounts.
Where your data lives

HealthKit data
- Health and workout data is used only to run your workout and show your own stats, including next to your coding activity on the summary card.
- It is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising, marketing or data mining.
- It is not written to any Walkabit server, because there is none. It is not sent to your relay or to Claude.
- You can revoke access at any time in the Health app (Sharing > Apps) or iOS Settings.
Your prompts and Claude
When you send a prompt, it goes through your private iCloud to the relay on your computer, which runs the official claude command-line tool signed in with your own Claude plan. From there, your prompt and the code Claude reads are handled by Anthropic under Anthropic’s terms and privacy policy, exactly as if you had typed the prompt at your keyboard. Walkabit does not read, store or forward your Claude login, and does not sit between you and Anthropic.
Analytics, tracking and advertising
None. The apps and this website contain no analytics, advertising, tracking SDKs or third-party scripts, and use no cookies. This website is static and loads no external fonts or resources. Hosting providers may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and requested page) for security and operations.
Sharing
We do not share your data with anyone, because we do not have it. The summary card is only shared when you choose to share it, using the iOS share sheet.
Security
Data in transit between your devices and relay goes through Apple’s CloudKit, which uses encryption. The relay keeps its settings in files on your own computer, readable only by your user account. Keep that computer secure: anyone with access to your Apple ID or to the relay machine could drive your sessions.
Retention and deletion
You control all data. Delete a session or its data in the app, delete the app to remove local data, remove the Walkabit data from iCloud in iOS Settings (Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage), and uninstall the relay with --purge (see support) to remove its local files.
Children
Walkabit is aimed at software developers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for material changes, note it in the app or release notes.
